Everyone knew Dean was a manly guy; he wore a leather jacket, is a quarterback, drove a classic car and flirt a lot. So, when it came out he liked girls and boys, it was a shock.
But the biggest shocker was when he came out with Castiel Novak.
Novak was a wallflower, a quiet nerd from a large, rich family. He always seemed to try to disappear in the background.
It should have been obvious when Dean defended Castiel when he was bullied by Alistair. It should have been obvious when Castiel sat constantly with Dean and his friends. It should have been obvious when Dean started calling him Cas.
But, no, it was only obvious when Castiel wore his letter jacket.
Dean’s letter jacket was sacred, next to the impala. Nobody wore it, and you only could when you gain Dean’s trust and respect; also if you are going out with him. None of Dean’s former girlfriends had that privilege.

A soft, steady repeating beep caught my attention.
Slowly I started to experience sensations, soft fabric under my fingers, a pillow under my head. More sounds started to bleed around me. There was a distinct clean smell hanging in the atmosphere.
There was something taped to my mouth, stuck in my throat, pumping air in and out of my lungs.
I carefully opened my eyes, blinking against the bright white light that blinded my sight from my surroundigs.
I tried to move my hand, only to find out there were little tubes pricking underneath my skin.
When my eyes were finally accustomed to the light I found myself in a small, sterile white room. I was laying in a bed, hooked up to a heart monitor. thin tubes were spread across my bed, transporting various liquids to my body.
The small dark wooden stand next to my bed was decorated with several child’s drawings and two bouquets. The wall next to me was covered with cards and some more drawings.
I let my eyes go over the room, the curtains

I was standing in the middle of the deserted barn, the ground was covered in a thick layer of sand, hay, thatch and dust. Old rusty machinery scattered around the building, the wind softly howling around them.
I knew he was close, I could feel his energy. Energy that once felt fraternal and close. Now it felt more like a threat, which it obviously was.
Suddenly a chill ripped its way through my spine. He was standing behind me.
‘’Hello, little brother. I can see that time hasn’t done any good for you. My sincere condolences, I didn’t know you had lost your grace. Good for me that it makes things even easier to finish. Let’s dance, shall we?’’
Rage was building inside of me, tensing me up, creeping over the back of my head, clenching my teeth.
I turned around to face my fallen brother, the brother that had been by my side for milions of years.
His bright green eyes were literally shining behind the dark locks of hair that wer

Booze, the only thing that had kept me from collapsing in depression. I knew it was a bad idea and yet I always grabbed another bottle of liquor to drink away my feelings.
I was alone in my room, drinking cheap ass whiskey and listening to quilty pleasures, staring at the ceiling while laying on my memory foam bed and letting my thoughts pass. Each one focussed on him, Castiel.
I wanted to let him in, I really did, but I was simply too afraid. I didn’t want him to become my second weak spot like Sam. It had killed my brother too many times already and I had killed myself too many times for him too.
Would I die for Cas? Without hesitation! No doubt about that.
Flash backs started to play in my mind, taking me back to all those times.
It was in the middle of the night, the rain had made the ground sludgy in the ghost town.
He was standing over Talley but he couldn’t do it, he dropped the knife, he couldn’t let yellow eyes win this one, he couldn’t
